Happy Friday lovely people! I hope your week has been a good one, and that your weekend will be marvelous. I have a gift for you today! It is a new set of free downloadable wallpapers for your computer inspired by the Color & Wellbeing series on the blog.
What with photography and blogging, I tend to spend a lot of time at the computer, and I like to have a lovely image (usually nature) as my wallpaper. I choose the image according to what is calling to me at the moment, and I have noticed that, more than the subject, it is the overall color that guides my choice. Surprise? Not! Thus I listen to my body and use the computer’s screen as yet one more way in which to absorb the color I need into my chakra system. Sometimes the image stays up for a day or two, sometimes for weeks. I always know intuitively when it is time to switch and bring forth another image/color for a while.
A few days ago, a friend who was visiting noticed the image I was using, I told her about the notions behind it, and she loved the idea. She then asked me if I would share the image as she wanted to do the same on her computer screen. Of course! Then I thought that you, my readers, would like the idea as well, so I have prepared this series of wallpapers that follow the color of the main chakras in our body.
You can download them at this page, then I suggest you keep them in a folder on your desktop for easy access. I find that the best way to do it is by letting your body radar guide you in the choice of color you want/need/yearn, select it, and let the powerful yet gentle vibration of that color do the work.
For those of you who are just starting to follow my blog and are unfamiliar with the benefits of using color in our overall wellbeing, but would like to know more, you can check out the series of articles by color expert Diantha Harris. Find the links below. Enjoy, and happy weekend!
May You Be Happy
