🌸 BLOOMING SEASON IN CALIFORNIA | What, Where and Approximately When 🌸
Free PDF e-book
As it happens, after the blog post was published, I felt that all the information belonged into a downloadable PDF e-book that people could just have with them for reference. We are only at the start of the season after all. So I designed it right away and here it is!
I have added as much information and links as I could muster; about wildflowers yes, but also other popular blooms like: lilacs, wisteria, roses, lavender, sunflowers and marigolds...
If you are interested, you can find it at the link in my profile @lifeoutofbounds
I hope you will enjoy, and find it helpful in your springtime nature explorations.

The wildflower season in California is one of the greatest spectacles Mother Nature offers us all over the state.
Since we are just at the beginning of it, I thought I would share about it in the monthly newsletter which went out over the weekend.
Then I thought that such a collection of information deserved a more permanent and easily accessible place, and I created a blog post. There you will find as thorough a resource list as I could muster of what is blooming, where and approximately when.
So, if you are planning on going wildflower-a-chasin’, go take a peek - you will find the link in my profile @lifeoutofbounds
And if you post photos on IG, please tag me so I can see them! 🌸
I am also thinking of creating a downloadable PDF, for next season of course, as it would take me some time. What do you think?
Have fun and happy March!

New March Calendar Wallpaper for your devices!
A few days ago I found myself browsing through my images from Hawai’i and I came across this one. I photographed this sunrise at Sandy Beach on the south eastern shore of O’ahu. I used to live just around the corner from there, in an area of Honolulu called Hawai’i Kai.
I felt it was perfect to symbolize rebirth, spring and new life for us in the Northern Hemisphere, and a new cycle for those of you in the Southern one. Besides, Hawai’i is just north of the equator, so about half way between the two hemispheres, and seasons there don’t really change a lot.
I hope you will enjoy it.
As always, you can download it for free (no sign up necessary) at the Link in my Profile @lifeoutofbounds
More to come….
