Calendar Wallpaper
While sorting out some iPhone photos taken when I still lived in Honolulu, I was reminded of the bbq parties one of my neighbors would initiate with our building for the 4th of July. Potluck parties are a big thing in Hawai'i, and I would usually bring dessert.
On this particular occasion, I made three different ones, among which these Lilikoi (Passion Fruit) Tartlets with Summer Berries. The brightness and summery colors called to me, so I decided to feature them in the July Calendar Wallpaper. Of course the recipe is available on the blog, and you can find it at this link . Oops, I just realized that yesterday was World Chocolate Day! 🤎
How did I miss that?! 😄
Do you know that Hawai’i is (possibly) the only place in the world where cacao can both be grown and turned into chocolate?
