Faerie Magazine: a Window into the Realm of Enchantment

Faerie-Magazine-Inside-Spread

A couple of months ago, something popped up on my Facebook stream that piqued my curiosity, so I clicked, and found magic. “What? There is actually a magazine called Faerie Magazine?” I had to know more.

Mini sidebar – For all my love-hate relationship with Facebook, I must admit I have found quite a lot of interesting, helpful and – as in this case – delightful information and services. Some of them have even transformed my life.

Faerie Magazine is published four times a year and filled with glorious photography, stories and… well, enchantment. As their subtitle says: “Celebrating the Extraordinary”. Don’t you just love that?

I found some free sample digital downloads, so I got those, then wanted more so I also purchased some… ahem… most of their back issues in digital format. Then I caved and subscribed to the printed version.

My first issue (Nr. 30 – Spring 2015) arrived a couple of weeks ago and I instantly poured over it, savoring every page. Stories about Findhorn and the Three Kingdoms, Springtime Foxes, Abandoned Wild Places, Ferns and Fairy Tales and Fairy Tale Brides…. How can you resist?

This beautifully designed magazine is a breath of fresh air, and a portal into another realm, one of wonderment and beauty. I am inspired.

Snuggled on the sofa, this afternoon I was finishing reading one of the articles. I got up to get a glass of water and when I came back I found this scene. It seems one of my pups likes the magazine, too. The whole scene looked too cute to resist, so I put my water down and grabbed my camera. A moment later he stood up, fluffed up the blanket and snuggled into it for nap. This is Cody, by the way, an essential member of the Life Out Of Bounds Team. The other one is Tyler. But this is a story for another time.

By the way, let it be clear that I am sharing about this magazine because I am enjoying it so much and thought you might enjoy it, too. They are not endorsing me in any way.

I am simply spreading the Magic!

Hi Nicole: It’s a wonderful magazine! And I was doing the photography for it when Cody thought he’d jump up and snuggle on the blanket, so I went along with that. 🙂ReplyCancel

🌟 NEW POST ON THE BLOG! 🌟

“My Foray Into Home Baking As A Business”
In this new post I share my personal experience between 2023-2024 when I found myself selling my baked treats like hotcakes and, for a while, seriously considering home baking as an actual business.

I share how it all happened, what I learned, the fun parts, the exhausting ones, what worked and what didn’t.
Whether you are thinking of starting a home baking business or not, I hope you will find it interesting. Besides, there are lots of drool-worthy pics in there to lift the spirits and tempt the taste buds.

You will find the link in my profile, under “Latest Post”, or you can comment BAKING under this post and I will be happy to send it to you directly.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
