I photographed these images at sunrise in a couple of locations along the windward coast of O’ahu, Hawai’i. The photos were for a portfolio for model and surfer Chey Moseman.
We arrived at our first location while it was still dark and waited for the light to slowly creep in, than dazzle us with her full power.
We started at Sandy Beach then moved to Makapu’u Point, both renowned (and dangerous) surfing beaches with strong undertow. We completed the series indoors, at my home studio.
