Indeed we are back in Adima’s glorious garden! Last time, I showed you the vegetable garden, and this time, given the month, I thought it was time to show you some roses and how garden bathing (if it didn’t exist before, it does now) reaches a whole new level here. Follow me, I will be the one with the pink umbrella leading the group. Yes, I do have a pink flowery umbrella. I also have a silky rad one, and a non-silky red one. Oh, and I have a blue one, too.

As you may remember from the previous posts, the garden at the front of the house is a terraced one, with three main sets of stairs going down. Depending on which set of stairs you will choose, you will find yourself in a different area of the garden, with lots to see both left and right. The morning I photographed all of this was a gently drizzly one after a few days of on-and-off rain: the roses were a little bruised, but still glorious. And besides, there are roses almost everywhere in this garden.

Indeed, garden explorations are always best done with a guide, you know, the furry kind that winds her way in between your legs trying to trip you up. Sometimes you can even get her to look at the camera.

Then, when the furry guide has managed to trip you up and you have gotten yourself all muddy, you might as well have a shower under the wisteria…. or even a bath among the flowers in a painted clawfoot tub.

When you know more rain is coming, what do you do with all those glorious blooming roses that you know are going to just get bruised some more? You create fragrant bouquets for your home of course!
