I have been following Turkish photographer Mustafa Seven on Instagram for several years, from the beginning (of my account) actually, as I was lucky to find him early on. As you can see from this small selection of his images, he is a master at capturing more than just scenes and people, but moments and emotions: a whole story in one image.
With a strong background as a photo journalist, Mustafa now focuses his passion on street photography and advertising photography, using several channels to present them, the current favorite being Instagram, where he is extremely popular. As of today, Mustafa’s Instagram account @mustafaseven has 844,794 followers.
His poignant images are captured all over the world, though more frequently in Istanbul, as well as other parts of Turkey, and Europe.
Mustafa has recently published a beautiful photographic book with his Istanbul images, and you can view the English language version by clicking here. Also, as a result of his incredible popularity on Instagram, he now offers monthly workshops in street photography.
